My name is Jon (my friends call me Ruff) and I'm a Chicago based photographer. Do you like that super serious photo up there? Wow. Anyway, this is my website. Somehow you've found yourself here. Fantastic. Let me take up some more of your time. Photography is the study of light, shadow and texture and how each work together to create something more. In a photograph is not the world as it exists but rather how the photographer choses to let it. There is very little objective truth in our world. We are slaves to subjection and interpretation. The photographs on this site are not meant to document Planet Earth and her people but rather are meant to portray what I see, how I see it, and what I want you to see.
